ABOUT

I am a student at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, currently pursuing my Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Ever since my first year of admission into college, I have been greatly addicted to studies regarding image processing and computer vision, and have been making quite a progress into understanding the subject myself. In the process, I have been researching interesting topics which I wish to share with the world on this website!
Hope you like my work!

MY RESEARCH

MELANOMA DIAGNOSIS

Melanoma is the rarest and the most dangerous form of skin cancer. In this project we propose a deep learning network built by incorporating the theories of depthwise separable convolution and residual learning. The proposed model can detect the presence of melanoma from analyzing clinical images with high success rate and is statistically better in performance than the existing methodologies.
